Roy Kent, played by Brett Goldstein on Ted Lasso, is well known for his scowl and love of expletives. (A man who is close to my heart.) Roy Kent particularly enjoys using the word “f***.” It is inappropriate for an iconic children’s show, let alone the basic television network. However, ted lasso brett Goldstein’s sesame street talked Tamir and Cookie Monster through the word of the day, which just so happens to be a specific “F” word. Fairness, of course, is the goal.
Ted Lasso’s terms explained:
Goldstein and Tamir discuss what it means to be fair while baking cookies. “Fairness is when each of us receives what we need,” says Brett. And if you were concerned about a certain monster with a sweet tooth after observing Goldstein and Tamir on Sesame Street baking cookies should relax. Naturally, Cookie Monster appears to participate in eating the baked goods. But the sweet monster also picks up some fairness-related lessons. Goldstein observes that there are various forms of Fairness. Sharing is sometimes necessary, like when you give Cookie Monster a cookie to chew on. Sometimes it’s when everyone pitches in to help, like Cookie Monster (also known as Fair Monster) doing the dishes.
We’re merely disappointed that Cookie Monster didn’t get to showcase his smooth feet more. However, his assertion that he is the team’s finest player and ought to be captain gives off a faint Jamie Tartt vibe. However, Cookie Monster is simply too endearing. Honestly, the entire clip is a complete pleasure. Goldstein, a well-known Muppets enthusiast, appears to have a great time. We hope Brett Goldstein’s visit to Sesame Street won’t be his last. And if anything, it gets us more excited than ever for season three of Ted Lasso.
The fame of sesame street
Roy Kent is present on Sesame Street, the last place we would anticipate seeing him. The lengthy list of famous people who have visited the area now includes Brett Goldstein, the actor who plays Ted Lasso. What brought him here, and why? to discuss the “word of the day,” an f-word, with the locals.
Brett chats with Tamir when they prepare cookies while visiting Sesame Street. And Brett and Tamir jointly declare the “word of the day.”
Before Cookie Monster enters and demands a cookie, Brett replies, “Fairness is when every one of us receives what we need. Unfazed, Brett tells Tamir that being fair frequently entails giving. He claims that sharing is just. “How else can we be fair to everyone?”
The film is a piece of the “Word of the Day” Coming Together video series from Sesame Workshop. The initiative “utilizes the power of language to cultivate children’s positive and sound self-concepts.” The first lady, Dr. Jill Biden, and Amanda Gorman, who teach vital terms like “Belonging” and “Proud,” have appeared in the series since its March 14 debut.

Goldstein commends Cookie Monster for “showing fairness by doing your part and helping others” as the group starts to clean up together. But that lighthearted talk quickly evolves into a debate about who the best soccer player is, and Cookie Monster won’t back down.
